In September 2019 I traveled for 3,5 weeks to the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo to work on a reportage about the Ebola virus and the vaccine. Since June 2020 the 10th Ebola outbreak in the DRC has been declared over. The picture essay was published in STERN and GEO with a text by Fiona Weber-Steinhaus. The research was supported by the DSW and the European Journalism Center.
