Initative 60

When the “Initiative 60” was founded in 1984, all its members were around 60 years old. Today, the ones remaining are far older than 80, but still protest with collective strength against the nuclear power industry. They fight against a final nuclear storage in their home region Wendland in the north of Germany and for a nuclear phase-out. They meet for protests but also for prayers and homemade cake – united by a spirit of resistance.
